If the appliance has been ON allow it to cool down before checking any of the below.

  • Ensure the the mains lead is connected and fully pushed into the socket at the back of the appliance.
  • Make sure that the plug is fully plugged in and switched on at the wall socket outlet.
  • If the product still will not switch on then unplug the appliance from the wall socket. Check and if required replace the fuse located in the plug (only replace with a fuse of the same rating as the old one)
  • Finally try another electrical product in the wall socket to ensure there is mains power at the outlet.
  • If the appliance still will not turn on after checking all of the above please contact our Service Team.

If you have a hand held remote control, set the room temperature slightly higher

There is guidance in the installation instructions, but logs and coals on electric fires can be placed randomly unlike a gas fire.
